About 2 years ago a stranger stoped at my shop and asked if I wanted to buy an Atlantic sign and what it is worth. Of course, I figured it was the standard 3ft by 4ft sign worth about 200-600, and drove my ranger over to check it out, and see what else was there. Well, was I wrong. It is 20ft long and about 3 ft high. Weighed around 800lbs. So, here it is. My question, He said it was at a station in the 50's, but i did not know when they would of made stainless signs and with the sheer size I was wondering what it is worth. I feel sometimes this big, they get hard to hang, so worth less then expected. What is a reasonable value? My guess was 600 to 800... what do you think?
