I know guys LOVE Whiz brand stuff. I have never seen one of these before and there's nothing on ebay or even on google images. Any ideas what it's worth? I have not even tried to clean it, it's as found. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it, email me @ double_d999@sbcglobal.net It's about 2 feet tall and about 10 or 11 inches across the top or bottom. Condition, as it sits, I would say about a 7.5 on a 10 scale. I'm guessing 20's-early 30's? THANKS GUYS!

I didn't mean to fish for an offer on the valuation only forum. I don't get on here too often, so please forgive my ignorance on that point. I don't want to sell my Whiz can, but you know the old saying, "EVERYTHING has a price."

Nice find!!! Everything I see that's Whiz from this era pretty pricey. Just my guess 250-300???? I am probably low.

I believe that Whiz only made two styles of the counter display units, the Liquid Radiator Stop Leak and the White Rubber Patch Outfit. I have only seen a couple of the latter in the last 20 years. If it is similar to the patch outfit then it should have a back door which appears missing on yours. I have seen the liquid radiator unit in the Whiz literature but never one in a collection or for sale, so it may be rarer. I would say to a Whiz collector it would be worth $300 to $450.

Hey...neat racks for the Havoline signs. Were they original racks or homemade? Can you show a picture of t hem?

These Canadian Texaco and Havoline can racks and hangers are original as well as the double sided porcelain signs. The basement is a bit crowded so these are not the best photos. It is a bit hard to stand back without leaning on something else. Cheers.

Just saw a whiz advertisement for sale on ebay, #120604187075, with the two display cans. The rad stop leak one pictured doesn't have a back door so that may be the way they came originally.

There's probably many different ones. I have a white rubber display and an all rubber display and have seen at least 3 others.

Most the porcelain Texaco rack signs I've seen/owned are P & M, made in Canada.
Havoline, I don't think I've seen a manufacture mark on them ?
