HOW DO I GET THE PAINT OFF A PAINTED TIN SIGN THAT HAS BEEN PAINTED OVER?THE SIGNS ARE ALSO EMBOSSED.THANKS

I would try "goof Off" or denatured alcohol. But test it on a small corner first.

Oven cleaner will remove latex from oil base. Test first.

i've used 0000 steel wool and wd40 with success, but ya gotta be careful.

Thanks for the help i am getting 3 pepsi signs that have been in a old building and they are the bottle cap type.the painted about 5 years ago latex over them.

You could try MEK (methylethelketone)it works but you need to be very careful. if the original paint was baked on you should be ok as long as you do not let it set for to long. Rinse well afterwords.
