I am priming my wayne 60 today with epoxy and getting it reqdy for the build primer. So at this point I have no idea who I want to paint it colors-sceme, ect. I know there are many way they are painted. I bought this wayne 60 a few years back and it came with the repop pieces for the clock face switch.

I am going to order the front panels/ doors.

So are there any wayne 60s out there- please show yours for some ideas.

Dave

There's something like 5 pages of Wayne 60's in the picture album on this site. Should be enough to get you going. The first thing I would do is decide what company/brand I would like and go from there.

I myself care more for simplicity in a paint job, if you get too busey it doesn't look authentic. I had done a 60 in Fire Chief
.....white door and face bezel,Black base and red sides and top, I like the chrome & stainless to "dress" it out. But hey, that's just me.

I've amassed a large folder of pictures of other Wayne 60's if you would like me to email them to you. I don't want to send you a large 5MB file unless you'd like to receive it. It helped me with my decision making.

One idea that really helped me was to import pictures of your pump into a program like PhotoShop and 'skin' over the pump in various paint schemes, brands and logos until you narrow down something that appeals to you. Making decisions in the virtual world is a bit easier than after the pump has already been painted.

Drop me a note if you would like me to send them to you: chad.kari AT gmail.com
