Wow. What a sad shocker. Doug was a super guy. I met him 3 years ago at Hot August Nights at the Swap Meet Fairgrounds. Very helpful, extremely caring and a quick friendship was established.
He was very unselfish and loved the tresure hunt. Once he knew what I liked he made many phone calls to me with new automobilia items he had discovered.
He showed his courage and dignity by not complaining or looking for sympathy from others regarding his illness.
What a class act.
This hobby is losing a special person.
