My name is Lynn Senesac and I live in Lafayette,IN. One of my favorite pumps is the Rush because they were made in my home town. I need your help. I have two Rush model D-1's and I would like to find out how many others are out there. You will not find the D-1's in any books and I haven't seen any in collector's collections, magazines or swap meets.
Jack's book has the model C-1 but it has a different bezal and the corners are chrome plated. The bezal is taller and not as wide as the D-1. I have been told of one in south east Indiana and I saw one in Paris, Ill. but it was not complete. So far those are all I know about. The serial numbers on my pumps are 30488 and 30506.
I would love to see just how many of these are out there. The castings for the hose are different on my pumps, one has brass and the other has cast iron.One has brass bezels and the other is pressed steel.
