Hello everyone. Can anyone give me some direction on what to do with this part. Do I need it? The push - pull switch attaches to it to turn on the lights. Its frozen and does not work. Should I cut the metal conduit off near the threads and re-attach it? Or should I Cut about an inch off of the metal conduit so I can expose the wires? This is off of my 1959 Gilbarco pump. I'm sure the wiring is no longer safe to use. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
