Welcome New Members, My Name is Jason and I'm a "Petroholic". I have been for 5 Months now and it is good to have others just like me to talk to. I've been on the pump purchasing wagon for 3 1/2 months and I'm sure to fall off, but all these guys from oldgas will be here to support me and help me along. Life is good as I try to work through my 10 step program. Collecting 1) electric pumps, 2) visible pumps, 3) globes, 4) porcelain signs, 5)quartcans, 6) maps, 7) matchbooks, 8) oil bottles, 9)lubsters, and 10) any gas memorabilia item I can get my hands on. Enjoy this site, it's a great one!!!
~Jason

I like your "PETROHOLIC" better. The other is too hard to say and spell. If I get the urge, I might call for support. Thanks. ~Jason

I also want to say WELCOME to all of our new members. Jump right in with any questions you might have.

Be sure to check out the Showcase and Stories forum to see Quart Of The Month, and Globe Of The Month. This month we are featuring "E" (companies that start with E) quarts and globes from Marathon and its many affiliates. If you have any cans or globes that fit these catagories please share pictures of them with us. If you can't post the pics yourself just ask for help.

We'd like to see any pumps you've restored too.

This is a great site that Jim provides at no cost to its members. There are expenses to maintain this sight and you can help out buy patronizing the businesses that advertise here. The site gets a small commission from ebay when you bid through the ebay link on this site. Jim gets a commission when you buy books through the Amazon book store on this site. Jim also sells the new pump restoration book and the oil can guide himself. All these things help to support this great site.

I'd like to take this oppertunity to invite some of our old members back that haven't posted in awhile.
Bob

I to want to welcome new members to this
great site.I don't know what I did wrong
but all of a sudden I couldn't post on
this site.Kept getting message that
was not registered despite having over
275 posts.So I have reregistered and now
can post again although have lost all posts.
So if It shows only 1 or 2 posts I'm
really not a new guy.WHEWWWWWWW thought I
had gone out into cyberspace.
