Great thread. I have loved the pictures and the treasures you have dug up and can only imgaing the time involved digging, back filling and cleaning the signs up.

Forgive me I am not trying to hijack your thread. I usually only lurk & seldom post but your last comment sparked a nerve.

Regarding your daughter's Diabetes: Please send me an email or PM with your email address and phone #. I have a son now 16 that has been diabetic since age 11. Been there, done that on the shots, testing etc.. I have vast experience,knowledge,contacts etc.. through JDRF and a local website you would gain great knowledge from that might reduce some family stress. My sister and son both have insulin pumps from different companies and are beta testers for onboard glucose monitoring equipment. You need as much information as possible to navigate through health insurance plans,coverages specialist referals, 504 school disability accomodations she is entitled to. There are many obstacles navigating school responsibilities regarding emergency care etc....
