I have to agree with ousting the guy. You are very reasonable for only wanting a partial refund as opposed to a full refund.

There are always 2 sides, we have heard 1 & expressed our opinions. Hopefully the other side stands up & does what he said he would.
It is a shame it had to be aired here in General.

Guys! Don't be so quick to judge, as we're only hearing one side of the story! Things are always viewed differently by others, and its not our place to pass judgement but only to pass our opinions from past experience!
I have to believe there may be extenuating circumstances that we aren't aware of, and that this may take care of itself! The fact that we have exposed our thoughts on the subject should be enough to give sway to anyones thoughts of right or wrong on the subject and bring about some sort of quick resolution. I would hope that anyone in this position would weigh their own thoughts against the collective, and realize the error of their ways!
Hopefully this will resolve itself!

I like your efforts to give everyone a fair shake KW. It is true that we only have one side of the story - but TeeTee can be vouched by many others besides me on this site I'm sure. The seller has not responded to emails, PMs or calls for over a month!! I like the 24 hour plan outlined above, after that let the chips fall where they may. "Say what you mean, mean what you say, and do what you say" as the old adage goes.

i believe theirs 3 sides to everything your side his side and GODS side , you have yours and you believe your in the right you probably are but you may not know the other guys whole story he may have problems or just ignoring the situation believing hes right, but gods way is always right , forgiveness. thats my sermon for today ,take from it what you will , or not

When it arrived it was damaged...due to poor packaging. It was not doubled boxed and in a box that was way too small. Another negative part to this whole situation is that a real nice original globe got damaged and that this could have been avoided had the globe been shipped properly. The topic of "shipping globes" has been discussed in this forum extensively; so there is no excuse for this short cut by the seller.

This seems quite clear to me. I've never been one to ignore the obvious. No need to make excuses for the seller. Here's my fair shake on this:
1. Seller failed to take the care needed to package a fragile item. Don't have to be very smart to realize that care should be taken to package a globe.
2. Seller agreed to reimburse $100.00. To date seller has failed to refund the monies.
3. Seller has been ignoring purchaser for the past 6 weeks. If you are on this site and don't answer your PM's..that's intentional and blatant.
I fail to see why or how some of you can be sympathetic. This was not a accident. But rather a bunch of bad choices by the seller. At the very least; seller is deserving of some well earned negative public scrutiny. Quit protecting his identity.
Seller needs to quit acting like a puss and grow a pair and deal with the situation!
