Great story, I enjoyed reading it. It is always nice when persistance and luck pay off.

Sorry to resurrect this post again. However, I wanted to thank the forum members that helped us find the 7" globe mounts and other little things in order to mount our globes properly. To those members of this forum and others.....Here are our pumps now done and ready to collect dust again in the house.... . I say this because when we moved them out of their corners.....the back sides were sure dusty .

Thank you. I did try and contact the station owner. Sadly, he has passed on. His Wife thinks that any other photo's will now be the the museums archive. So, I will try to see what they have this Summer when we are back there.
I hope there will be a neat photo.
