Not wanting to understate things, I've had to ponder a bit on how to respond in this thread. I cannot possibly put names to all the help I have received through the Oldgas community. Some of it in PM and some by just reading others threads. But in the end, the collective knowledge of those here that have been playing in this hobby for awhile, is priceless and I greatly appreciate it, and I want to add my thanks to all that have ever helped me along the way! No matter how big or how small. I pray we're all here for many years to come!
In return, I can only say I will do all I can to pass it along to those who I meet along the way.
After only 13 months in the hobby, sometimes when reading other peoples threads, I reflect back on some of the stupid and impatient questions I've asked and I now understand why I sometimes got some rather course responses. For those moments I apologize. And hell, I haven't even bought a pump yet. I'm sure there will be plenty more stupid questions whenever I get into that game. So be ready guys and thanks in advance!!

I'll say thanks to all who have helped me over the years, and agree with all the names mentioned here and then some.just too many to list.i was into cars for years, but never made the friendships and got the kindness like I did from the oldgas and pitstop communities.i will add George Johnston to the list also.you new guys remember these names, and seek them out and introduce yourself at shows or wherever.you won't be sorry.and don't worry,ol DB is a pussycat when ya get to know him.just bring your pug out when you meet him!!LOL

John O'hern is a young man with an old timers knowledge. I believe he emailed me off ebay (back when you could see bidders names) and saved me from a 12" Sinclair aircraft sign that I was sure was golden when I first started. Dennis Leith is another young guy (same age as me) that is a wealth of knowledge from years in the hobby and has saved me more than once. There are so many others. Thanks to all!!!!
