I'm not sure they used the same red all through the years. There is no mention in their literature of a paint code.
If you have a piece with the original red on it, take it to a auto paint store and they should be able to match it.
Texaco red comes pretty close.

Dodiefire:

I 'restored' my pedestal air meter to 'look' original for paint and finish - so I just shot everything with a rattle can of Krylon Bright Red.

The non-restored one's I have yet to touch, have all darkened over the years and a true match for color would be impossible. the Krylon looks like I remember them form my childhood (okay, I'm still a child, my younger years then).

Later . . .
