1/8th will be fine. They do not hold that much weight. I still use 1/8 lexan curved and bolted in some of my pumps.
I called about 30 suppliers asking about the blue tent and only 2 of them can do it. The problem is the cost - by the time I order them the wholesale cost would be about $220.00 for a blue tent lexan extrusion that is sized 12 x 27.
The only company that could knock that price down is a plastic extrusion company I found in South Korea but I would have to order about $3,000.00 USA down and $6,000.00 USA on delevery to an escrow agent of my choice. The wholesale cost on the blue tent plastic tubes was about $79.00 delevered without tax's or duties.
