Way to go, John!

I must admit that is one ugly globe.

Unless of course someone's Grandchild painted it.... And then I would say ... "that's talent".... While walking away, shaking my head.... LOL

If anyone out there can make the damn episode video work, and you know how to use "print screen", then you can pause the video, take a print screen image of the pump, maybe crop it, and post it here for all to see.
Unfortunately I was unable to make the damn video work. I dont know if you have to sign up to the damn history channel site or what!!!!

Bob, I was of course only kidding. That green aint no Sunoco blue, but it all cool!!!!

They do that on purpose so that you will buy the dvd`s of te shows.

Did anyone see how they beat the guy down on the shell globe and the other 2 globes....THEY STOLE THEM!
. I did see the one where they bought a national flying A green porcelain pump , ripped off the guy in my opinion and where very rude to him , I hope there van chucks a connecting rod! LOL

I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

I did not notice that, thanks Mark...

Whomever designed, painted the globe, did the right thing and let the "World know" that the globe was their creation.... If most "of the World" thought like the creator of this globe, this Hobby would be in a "better State of Mind", IMO...

Kudos to the creator of the globe!!!!!!!!

What problem do some of you have with the 2 guys on the show? Is it because they buy items then resell them for a profit?

With the authorities calling off the search for Jimmy Hoffa, why don't we have them contact the American Pickers, they seem to find anything?

Gentlemen, remember this IS FOR TELEVISION. The entire show is STAGED. They bring things with them to buy from sellers. FREE STYLEING is s farce. They NEVER drive up and down roads looking for places. They shot at a place where I know the people. The sellers are paid well for the shoot. These shows are ALL STAGED.
THE ENTIRE SERIES is for entertainment. Think about what they buy and what they leave behind.

Want to be a star on one of their shows???? Read this. This IS REAL.

Happy Tuesday! My name is Meghan Griffin and I'm a Casting Producer with an NY-based production company Leftfield Pictures. We are the producers of hit series such as History Channel's Pawn Stars, American Restoration, Counting Cars and Oddities on the Science Channel.

We’re currently working on several exciting projects and are looking for guys with HUGE personalities. Specifically, we’re looking for folks who are OBSESSED with all things picking, junkyards, yard sales, restoration, and/or everything vintage and awesome!

Please take a look at my casting notice below and let me know if you're interested in learning more. We are looking to cast several people - so if there's anyone else you know who may be interested, feel free to pass this e-mail/my contact information around!

The only way I'd ever watch that show would be if the pump fell on them. Hell - I'd buy that on DVD!

I think that "Happy Tuesday - be a star" pitch circulated on this site earlier this year.

The Mick and Dick show! The very likable Mick and the--well--self described you know what grin grin grin with a very unique sense of humor.

Haven't met him in person, but from my experience on this list, Mick is this all around nice funny guy, and if they are looking for characters, well DB seems a natural...

Maybe not though, I wouldn't want to see fame change either of them...LOL

I'd watch that!

I stopped watching Mike and Frank when the channel made it impossible to watch online because I don't have cable to have a id to sign in with. That was a few months back and now I look at it like they are shooting themselves in the foot but I'm not a TV exec.
It usually drives me nutz to see what they pass over but it's worth it to see the stuff that the people have in their collections and for sale.
The mute button works well during the non-picking times!
