Hey guys,i have sold several pumps and signs over the last few weeks.I have met some great people too,when they have come to pick there stuff up.However there is a dark side,someone is now emailing the bidders who didnt win and offering a second chance,please dont fall for this.Seems it is happening on everything i sold over 1000.00,i dont know how they intend to pull it off but there gunnin for your money.becareful. Yes, this has been happening to everything that I bid on that sells for over $1k. I will get a second chance offer and know I am not close. Just always send it to spoof@ebay.com

FWIW, if I have an item I am selling AND that I have more of, I send a 2nd chance offer through ebay AND a followup email, and not always to the next highest bidder, it depends on how close they are to what I ORIGINALLY wanted, ie:

weatherstrip listed for .01¢ if the high bideer is $50 I will send 2nd chances down to the $25 bidder

But then the 2nd chance offer is not a one off item either
