Tom, I have never owned a really cool gas pump, but if everything wraps up with the Johnson signs, maybe I will buy a neat one at Peotone. I always liked the die-cut Mobilegas pumps that light up and I seen a couple old Texaco pumps at a sale last year, that had a steel pole on top with a porcelain shade. Do pumps like these usually show up at Peotone?

Seems as though nowadays some just love to take the joy out of things!Nice finds and don' t let detractors change your outlook on this. You are right about how money and greed do not change people, only brings out their true colors.Congratulations and good luck with them.

I hear ya Bob. I have been meeting a lot of great guys in the oil and gas since this find. It's really all good. I'm just glad I was able to secure the original crate, as it was almost hauled off in the trash!!! Not that it would have made the sign value change, but whoever gets these, it will be cool to lay one or all of the signs back in it for a killer display!

Maybe I'll get Jay Leno's attention and he will hire me to pick for him. That would work for me :-)
