how much does the ad glass top add the value of a m s 80?

Out in the wild, you can figure about $250 more value in the pump. Once its restored, the ad glass top really adds a lot of eye appeal and the additional value might not be in the dollars, but desireability of the pump.

Better to pay it upfront and buy a pump with it on. You will pay more than $250.00 for the top when buying it by itself.

thanks.i just bought several 80 pumps them found 8 ad glass tops.i have one top that is red plastic.no ad glass area.and a fiberglass one with ad glass hole.

I have an ad glass top that has a factory globe holder molded into it also. I think these are a little more hard to come by and more collectible..This is pictured to the left in my avitar.
