What a great show on Friday, today got rained out which was a shame. I had great sales and believe that many vendors did as well. One bad thing and I guess we need to start thinking more about this as our collectables go up in value We unloaded and a guy asked me for the price of a small sign (the repro Mobil Gargoyle sign I asked about on this forum a week ago) I told him and he set it down and I went along with unloading. I all of a sudden realized that the sign was GONE. I started alerting people around me. It wasn't long before Dan Matthews realized that a REAL US 66 sign of his was gone and soon another sign from another vendor and then a valuable oil can from another. I'm the only one who saw the guy but, of course, we couldn't find him Anyway just a warning to everyone.

Elden nice visiting with you and glad to have been some help. I was hoping you would have been at the dinner last night because the undesirable people were not there. My friend Chris Farmer sure wishes he would have bought your 60 display. See you soon I hope. You are welcome to bring Todd and come down anytime. Ted

Dick, we look to our senior members to provide these type of things. We are just the underclassmen.

I don't think anyone knows for sure if this is a truck door sign or a pump sign. Ken gave me permission to post the photo. He owns the only two I have ever seen, if anyone else knows anything about these we would love to hear about it. Freds show was great except for the thieves. First time I have ever heard of that happening here. Friday was a beautiful day and we had a pretty full field of vendors. Lots of nice stuff to choose from. I couldn't make it around to see everyone this year but a big thanks to everyone that that turned out. Hopefully next year I will be able to make it around to see everybody. We woke up to rain on Saturday......bummer. Diane

Had a great time catching up with everyone and chatting. Always fun to hang out and learn from the veteran collectors. Thanks to all who had a part in making this show a success!

I had a great time even though I got there around 12:30 PM. Way too late for shuch a great show! I had the opportunity to meet: Tom Stover, Jeremy (983jeremy), Elden (love that Mohawk 36BDP) , Paul from NW , Slama, Bowman, Frank Jones, Dennis Griffin, Bob Porter, Roy Reed and Dwaine Buck. Of course, the main reason I wanted to attend the show was to be able to see Ken's collection. Enjoyed the local wine + dinner! Man, those restored pumps by Frank Jones are something else. Here are few pictures that I was able to take ... Hen
