I'm restoring a '57 Tok 300 and I have a couple questions:
What were the color schemes for a skychief Petrox sign?
Also, I've heard of Tok 300s with a National adglass top that still had Tok faces and chrome trim, is that legit??

I got a question archimedes,
On the left hand side of your pump appears to be a handle of sorts. In the same place on my 300 and the other 300s I seen locally, there is just what looks like a bolt, on the inside there is a tube that runs down the where the pump would have been(gutted unit). What is it for??
By the way, I need to say the people on this forum are GREAT! It's an honor to be on it with Y'all.

The handle is the reset crank for the computer, rproductions are readily available at Gas Pump Heaven, VicsPlace etc. The "bolt" as you put it is probably a gas fume vent and the tube ran down to the pump unit before it was removed. If you look closely in the old ad photo below my pump you can see the crank and the vent opening just below it. Hope this helps.

well, kinda-sorta. Mine doesn't have a hole or anything for a turnback crank. is this something the remove later in production, or am I gonna have to do some really deep diggin to get my pump restored with a crank?

Well, I haven't see a 300 without a reset crank hole before, but I am by no means an expert. Could you post a pic, it would clear things up real quick if I could see it first hand. If you can't post just email it to me and I will post it.

your Tokheim 300 is a automatic...your reset handle is on the nozzel rest..Marks is not a auto, his has a windback crank to reset his computer
