Pepsi thermometer is a fantasy piece..not a repro. Pepsi never did make a original. I believe it was made in the early 80s or at least that is when a bunch of them showed up as NOS.

Single dot logo started in 1951. Therm is marked 1940 or so. Pepsi never used a red background and it is put together with phillips head screws. Mike

Not to get this thread off topic, but what do you mean "single dot".
I have gotten more into collecting soda signs (since gas and oil signs are so "hot" right now) and I have seen the term used before.

Pepsi therm is %100 a fantasy item from 1980's. On a further note, several of your items are obviously post 1970. Forum guidelines state that items for sale must be pre 1970. This guideline is clearly stated so that the forum doesn't turn into a free-for-all junk hole filled up goodwill donation items and flea market *****.
