can some one help with this old pennzoil glass globe. it measures 15 inches around. i think the era is 20's and need a value . thank you

pretty darn scarce! Cd says 1920's regular grade and complete metal globe with both lenses $2500-4000 range. I spent a lot of time near Peterborough at Pigeon lake and stony lake for 20 years. wish I had known this was in the area!! lol

well, if I could count on a drive up there to catch a 50" lunge and a killer Pennzoil 15" lens at an estate sale, I would have kept fishing there!! lol

This is a perfect example of why some members dislike giving out values on an item! If someone comes on here asking for the value of an item, they should have the courtesy to announce where and when the item will be sold, if that is their intention.
Members on here should not have to scout ebay, Craigslist, and other venues to see if it might be offered up for sale! Luckily we have a broad enough base of members that are willing to announce the fact if they happen to stumble across an ad for the item.
Old Gas rules prohibit anyone asking if its for sale and since that courtesy is extended to the collector (picker) with the question on valuation--I would hope that the same courtesy would be extended to those giving out the value!!
It doesn't seem to work that way, so how do we get the point across??
