I recently purchased a M/S 80. I haven't started tearing the pump down yet,but have ordered all new rubber and the host of other goodies already.
Anybody out there have a special trick on how to make the outer edge door rubber fit correctly in the tight radius of the upper door corners? Wish they repoped rubber already formed.
A friend told me to cut an arch on the backside rubber to make the bend. He said he has tried cutting relief slits close together and a host of other tricks but has found the arch shaped relief cut works the best for him.
Anybody have a different idea on how to tackle this task??? Thanks for any and all advice!!!
Kurt
