Gregg, I took a pair of Wayne/MS add glasses to a body shop and had Lyle Lewis sandblast them to give it a frosted look. Frontier Platinum decals were then applied. I took the National A-38 add glasses to a Safelite Glass dealer to sandblast them. The 13.5 globe lenses were bought frosted from Gas Pump heaven in Omaha. I then took them and the A-38 to Tom Cozad @ Signs by Cozad in Gering , Nebraska for vinyl lettering. Bill Snocker used the computer to generate the font and size of letters I wanted. It was then sent electronicly to a printer loaded with translucent vinyl sheets that cut the letters. He then placed the letters on the lens and peeled the paper backing off and walah...perfect! Many over the road trucks have their company names printed on the doors in this manner.
Sorry these pics don't do their work justice and since the 13.5 globes are outside, they need dirt and bugs cleaned out. Daylight or soft white cfl bulbs give the a much different appearance too.
