Anybody out there have any comments on the new mfg. glass cylinders being offered?? A buddy of mine is doing a 10 gallon visible to display out side. He is going to put a cast acrylic cylinder on the pump. I tried to talk him out of doing this, they will fog up and discolor and look bad, but he is insistent. For the money the new glass jobs have to be better.....right?? Any experiences on these yet?? I'll pass on any info to him as he won't have the pump done for several months yet.......

I bought a reproduction glass cylinder from Miles and I think they are ten times better than acrylic, Especially if the pump is going to be displayed outside. With original glass commanding good prices I think the glass repo's are the way to go.
