Great stories everyone!

Well my most memorable find has to be my Wayne 60-S. I woke up one morning and I just happened to look on a local classifieds list for old gas pumps. Sure enough there was an add on there with no pictures for an "OLD PUMP." So I called the person and talked to him for a bit and finally asked him for some pictures of it. When I received the pictures I about fell out of my chair! It was an all original Showcase Wayne 60! I called him immediately and asked him what he wanted...well it was a steal. So I picked up with the trailer and left to go get it only 40 minutes away with my dad. I couldn't believe that I was getting a pump that was on this same farm since 1942! Just goes to show that it is still out there! Enjoy!

Cool story and very nice pump. I only have two pumps, one was my grandfathers and one my Dad drug up from a ditch behind his mother-in-laws. Yep the 'barn-find' pumps are still out there. Just have to look around. Just the other day I was on my way to a small town about 26 miles from my house. Been down that road at least 1000 times, but just realized there is a old shed behind a house containing a couple of old pumps. Next time I am that way going to stop and ask about them, you never know.
