Well out here on the West Coast it's almost New Year. True to the cause I am hauling a few things home from the south of California. What a way to spend the day, eh? I was very lucky to spend the better part of the day in Santa Paula and meet with the venerable DB and see his collection, hear a few stories, meet his wife and see a near "flock" of hummingbirds! Too bad the museum was closed. And collected a pump as well. It was a hoot. I have much to see and learn from the master-I am the oldest grasshopper out there in OG land.
This year has indeed gone very fast and I look forward to 2014 and meeting more people in the hobby both on and off OG. It's been great so far. Have fun out there!
