These look new seller thinks they are old. How can you tell the reproductions from the Real McCoy. What's your opinion on these?

They are from different era's (years of application).

They look good, but you can't go on looks alone anymore. So many new reproductions come out everyday; that, one can't be to careful.

I would stay away because sellers story doesn't add up on the No Smoking rusty chipped sign that he is selling. It's a reproduction.

Thanks, sometimes when things look too good to be true they are fakes, however being raised in the small town of West, we never threw away anything. You can find mint signs in old barns falling down that these people stored for safe keeping.
So it's hard to tell, but when a seller does not tell you the truth you have to beware! Thanks for the help.

When I asked the seller what the back of the Rest Room Locked sign his reply was:

"I cant post from my phone but its white with gray glue were the hooks are"

my original has Registered Restrooms and more on the back-
I do not think I have ever seen one without this on the back

Everything in there is fake accept the flange signs. Men(s) should be your first HINT. Locked for your protection are to be square. Wrong holes in key tags, wrong do hickey holding on the keys to the tags etc....
