Hey guys, just returned from an auction in Post Falls, Id.....had several gas items....almost all items were also listed on ebay via a live auction......it's true....you gas collectors are maniacs !!!
:-) I got beat down on everything I bid on !
some very cool items though ! is this Fry pump (120067546621) really worth $8,800 bucks ? wow ! check out the other items that went, Burnside Kerosene sign, $2,900, Fying A sign, $1,750.00, Pearl oil sign, $900.00, etc, etc, etc ! being a novice collector....I was in awe and scared at the same time !!! Z

That was a rare pump with a super hard to get original associated globe included, thus the $$$, but stuff went high for sure.......

I bid on a couple signs and a group of nozzles. It is hard to bid online and get a deal, especially considering 15% buyer premium plus shipping and packaging fees. I didn't win anything I bid on but it was fun to watch. Some good and rare items went through that auction.

Pump also had the RARE totaliser. Not many of them around. But I agree they were bidding on the globe, pump was a bonus.
