There was a lot of discussion about that sign and some differing opinions as to its authenticity. The auctioneer basically said they couldn't/wouldn't guarantee it was not a repo, so the bidding went accordingly. It looked pretty good to me, but I've never seen an original in person, so my opinion's not worth much.
