A friend of mine picked up one of these at a swapmeet we attended together back in 1992.
I think he paid $20.00 for it or there abouts, and intended to get it working so as to bring it to Chevy-Vettfest to display next to his restored car.
He wanted to present a Dina Shore/Lawrence Welk type atmosphere as that was the era his car was from and let the bubbles surround his car.
When he told the shows organizers what he was planning on doing, they told him they would not allow that machine in the building,as they were concerned the surrounding participants would be upset with having bubbles flying around and landing on their 5K paint jobs at that time.A Good Point.
He brought it anyway and didn't intend to plug it in or apply power to it,but they confiscated it as they told him not to bring it,and gave it back to him after the show.
The idea sounded great on paper..
