I don't have a problem with you, my problem is seeing rules here on OG being stretched beyond reason. Back in 2000 when I became the 57th member of this site, we didn't even talk about auto signs, Lincoln grease items, Alimite items, etc. we discussed gas pumps, oil company signs, cans, globes etc. Petroliana items. Now it seems anything goes.

I once posted an $10.00 Model TT Ford ad, showing a tanker that had Standard Oil all over it. It was moved to non-petro.

I have seen pens from automobile companies being sold as petro items. Actually, reading the rules as they are now, your post is probable OK and I apologize.

Time to end this post, we are just beating a dead horse.
