You know I told my wife about six months ago that they would get gas prices down to 2.99 before the election. Well, I was off by one dollar. “Drill baby Drill” yea right they said that would make prices go down, well – it does not do a darn bit of good to “Drill baby Drill” when OPEC slows down production every time oil gets too cheap ( like they just did )!
Come on, this whole thing was a swindle just like it was in the 1970’s. They say it is because demand is down; well it is not down the much. In the 1970’s the yacht clubs could get all the gas they wanted, but you had to put it in your boat or gas cans. My father would put them in five-gallon cans and then drive a block away to put it in our van.
The oil and gas companies are trying to dodge the bullet by dropping prices (we all know they control) because they do not have their bribes in place yet with the new politicians and they do not want to be caught with their pants down in public.
