Trip, I haven't seen the new book yet, but it should definetly help as far as ID'ing correct colors and signage for pumps. As for "how to" restore a pump, I can't see how any book can talk a person thru a professional restoration. Each pump has it's own characteristics even though certain parts do bolt here and there. Good body work and prepping is a MUST. One must also have innovation and the ability to improvise, because some parts do not remove easily and will not go back on correctly. I priced a restoration to a fellow one time and he said "all you do is paint it, right?"...I laughed and just walked away from him. I would recommend the book though and good luck.
