My wife and I are headed to the Tampa/St Pete area next week, any suggestions on places to check out for Petroliana?

Depending on how you get to Tampa, the Garlits museum i Ocala is not that far away (2 hours by car...) they have a lot of nice pumps om display - and the great cars of course.

I am not sure about Petroliana on your route but the Don Garlits museum is a must see, if you are a car guy. I highly recommend it. Safe travels to you  Take care, Tom

If you heading south from there, you can get a burger and beer at Ford's Garage (3 locations in the Ft. Meyer's area). I've never been there, but I heard its good. My neighbor goes there a lot and sends me pictures of the gas nozzle sinks in the bathroom and on the front door. Pumps are repops, but still a good place for a burger (according to him). Food looks great on their website. They are opening one in Tampa, but it's not open yet  http://www.fordsgaragefl.com/index.php/fg-gallery
