I posted this in the "wanted section" and here. I hope it fits both sections but if not, so be it.

Over the last six months or so I have asked for pictures of gas pumps that are not in the 1st or 2nd editions books. I have also requested pictures that are better than the ones that I did use in the first two books

"Pictures." Yes, if you have a picture of a gas pump that is not shown in any of my books I would like a copy (along with permission to use the picture). If you are going to take a picture of the pump I would like suggest the following: If the pump is in front of other items in your collection, please try to hang a sheet behind the pump so as to block out the cans, signs, etc. that interfeer with the gas pump picture.

Please do not send pictures of oil dispensers (lubsters), they will be in a book of their own.

Basically, do you have a picture of a pump that is not shown in either of my first two books? Do you have a better picture of a pump that I do show in either of my two books?

I am looking for picture that better shows the details of the pumps.

Within a few days I will begin posting pump numbers that I am aware of (and do not have pictures of ) asking you, do you have a pump that matches these numbers?

Two things, please give your full name with the picture so I can acknowledge your contributation. Also please give any other information about the pump that might be helpful to everyone.

I too will be posting pictures of pump that I have. These are pumps that I have no idea who made them. This will be done with the hope that you can help me identify these pumps.

My goal is to finish the book before the end of January or before. I am just about done with what I need to do, I just need pictures of pumps that I don't have.

In early summer I will become 80 years old. I want the book done, published, shipped and in the hands of the collectors by that time.

At the present time It appears that there will be only two people selling the book. At the present time I am also accumulating names of persons who might be interested in purchasing my book. If you would like to have your name added to this list, please email me with your email address ad I will put you on the list. Every book I sell will be autographed by me personally. No price yet, that will be in the announcement.

My goal is to write the best, the most comprehensive gas bump book ever printed. Gas pumps only, easier to reed, easier to find an answer, and much more information about gas pumps.

Please send in those pictures. Email pictures are OK, just try and send them in the highest resolutions as possible.

Thanking all of you in advance,

Jack & Cindy Sim

Hi Jack,

I'll send you a better picture of that Milestone Meter Systems Model # 40. I'll get it out to you this week sometime. Thanks and have a nice Christmas!

Tim,
Great, thanks, keep them coming.

Finished a small section of the book today. Just to tease you, I pulled all the gas carts out and put them all in one section, now you don't have to go through 300+ pages trying to ID a gas cart.

Again, thanks,

Jack

Good Afternoon Jack,

I'm sending you pictures of two additional pumps, with their vise-gauges, that you might be able to use in your new book. I can't wait for it to come out.
