First of all, Merry Christmas to all!

I have what I think is a copper, or copper like finished, oil drain spout. Inside the concave part of the handle that looks like it can be hung, is stamped Scovill Mfg Co. Waterbury, Ct, and a patent number.

Any idea what era this is from and any idea of values?

You can look the patent number up online and find out when it was developed.

That is a copper color coated, also found in other colors.

Don't know the current going value on those at shows and eBay.
You can still find them at yard sales and flea markets for $1-$5, but they are not as common as they used to be.

Patent # 2082094 so it looks like it's from the late '30s.
