OK, so now that your looking I found this today. It looks like an EPA nightmare and is am old oil/gas truck. I am a mopar guy but it happens top be a chevy and I love the rear wheel well lines ect. I know many guys collect things, does anyone collect these old gas trucks. I can see the darker green under the repaint. Looks like an old gas rig but I am not sure. Thought it would make good conversation at least?? LAWFISH GAS TRUCK CHEVY ------------------

Great project potential in that old sweetheart! Certainly wish I lived closer for a better look. Little white pickup in background also caught my eye.

It would make a nice ride.I'd kinda like to have it, but my old Dodge would be jealous. LOL. I'm actually hoping to get a tanker someday.

Very unusual to see a Chevy chassis used in that time period, most of them had gone to Cornbinders or Diamond T's. I wish I lived out in the sticks and could find stuff like that, I'd need a big place.

Oh ya, got one. No two. Trying to finish up a 41 International 1 1/4 ton tanker. Painted up in Cities Service green and hope to have it done this spring. Also have a 57 Ford tank truck that I was going to do but changed my mind and it's for sale. Big, big project.

Dave - If you've taken pictures of your restoration project, I encourage you to begin a thread on this topic. It would be great to see the work you've done already. Its a great idea!
