Don't know if this will help or not, but this is what my 5 gallon Fry looks like
There is a feed conduit from the bottom of the pump that goes into a splice chamber for the wires extending out to the 2 light arms.
The green "elbow" you see is the vent for the cylinder. I know it's not the greatest of pics, but that small brass piece sitting on top of the elbow actually goes down in the elbow where it free floats to the bottom and left side of the elbow. A small brass plug then threads into the top left of the elbow to close it up.
