I have a stack of old original shell,premium, silver, and oil decal 10w-40w They are all date 1945- 1949. Only one problem, I tried to use a few of them and most of them would just fall apart or wrinkle up after you got them on. The are neat to go through and look at, but not really usable.So if you find some from 1938 there is a real good chance you would be wasting your money.You should use the repro's Mike
