The hood badge Travis pictured was used on Ford trucks during the same time period. Around '61 they went to an elongated version of that badge for 6 cylinder trucks while the V8 trucks had a similar badge with V8 instead of the lightning bolt and gear. I believe those were used until the end of the '66 model year.

That sign and badge have nothing to do with the Fordomatic trans.
