I agree it is always sad to see any collection being dismantled. Especially when you consider the time, effort, sacrifices made (time away from family) to establish a collection of this caliber. Would be nice if families had the means to keep a collection intact after the death of the original collector. But, as has been stated many times before...at best; we are only temporary custodians. As proven again by this thread...even the best of best collections are not immune to this truth.
