...it's been stated that the owner was a billionaire...and that the collection originally sold for $10-11 million?

...I'm guessing another $20-30 million would have been enough to build a suitable museum to house the collection, and create an endowment to ensure its preservation...

...a billion dollars is a thousand million dollars...what's $40 million, if you have $1000 million? 4%! confused
