Craig I'm not talking about anything like that.
Here's an example a Wayne 70 in "Good" shape 5 years ago was getting $500.00 most of the time, can we all agree on that ? Depending on what part of the country also but we're close here right ? The same Wayne 70 today is not worth $2250.00. A Tokeim 36B 5 years ago was $1600.00-$2000.00 today $5000/$6000.00. A Texaco SSP Fire Chief 12" X 18" was $125.00 for a minty one, today the same sign $250.00 and "YOU" pay the shipping. A Wayne 60 is another one. The list is endless. I know these sellers are not stupid they find an item for next to nothing, buy it and tack on say $500.00 if the buyer offers him $200.00 less he's still laughing all the way to the bank.
I'm also not talking about the true/honest sellers on here that find a can out there for $75.00 and list it here for a $100.00 I think most people on here know exactly what I'm talking about, but tip toe around it. How about the roller nozzle that's gone from an unheard of $500.00 when Dick Bennett was alive to $950.00, really ? I hope I can find one at a flee market for $25.00 and offer it here for a couple hundred to a pump collector with an 850 who's restoring one and needs one, but can't afford one for a $1000.00 a gas pump nozzle.
