I have been going thru a similar situation with my wife this past year . In and out of the hospital 3 times this year , once in intensive care and almost lost her.
So much stress I know first hand .Still dealing with the memory loss , same questions over and over.
I am sure it took a lot of understanding on your part as I find myself getting frustrated sometimes and try to catch myself.
We get so busy in life & it passes so quickly , we look back and wonder where it all went.
Hold on to the memories as you had many blessed years to reflect back on.
