I am new to this forum. My interests are largely in antique engines and farm machinery although there was a visible gas pump on the home farm. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I am trying to assist a good friend who is not computer literate with his recent purchase if a G&B visible gas pump. We are interested in finding the correct model and a guess at the date of manufacture.
It looks very similar to many of the G&B pictures on this site but has a significant difference. It uses a 10 gal glass which is etched with graduations but the glass is held in place with an extra 3/4" pipe up through the center of the glass. There are no rods (bolts) around the outside of the glass and no provision to install them. Power for the lights (one on each side above the glass) and the top globe also runs up through this pipe.
A picture of the tag is attached. If not clear enough, the model area reads 'T-C1' on the left and '14' on the right. Above the model line on the right is stamped 'T _3' with the possibility of some sort of crest stamped above the underscore.
The pump is disassembled at the moment so an overall picture is not available. It seems complete except for the cap which goes above the glass (a universal cap came with the pump). The globe assembly is present.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
