Hello everyone. It makes me sad to post this but I would like everyone to know. My father Robert Moore (Moore798) passed away in February. He was an avid collector of Petroliana and advertising in general. His estate has gone into probate and as much as I hate it, his large collection is being sold at auction. I am a collector myself and hate to see it go but I have estranged half brothers and sisters. So, it all has to be sold. He always told me "we are caretakers of the past for future generations". Now it is time to pass his collection on. The auction is July 26 in Pawhuska Oklahoma at the fairgrounds(air conditioned). They do accept phone bids. The link to the sale is posted below.
