Thanks to you guys that bid online and those of you guys that came to Guthrie, I must say that the highlight of the weekend was Friday night at the shop after the preview, we opened up the shop and let people pillage the whole place top to bottom and side to side, at one time there were so many people buying parts I told everyone to grab a box and fill their own orders, we dug lots of stuff out that we had just laying around and sold it CHEAP. It appeared that everyone had a good time, we see the shop everyday so we kinda get jaded but there is a lot of cool stuff to look through. As far as the auction went we sold items non stop for more than 12 hours, I think that there were some good deals to be had but really I think for the most part prices were really correct. If everything goes sky high every year you scare people away and this year I think that most people were able to get a deal or two to send them home happy. But there were some items that did get up there in price. Overall my little brother did an incredible job, considering that 100 days ago there wasn't even going to be an auction. That was quite an accomplishment. Nearly everyone I spoke with I preached the importance of Oldgas.com, if for nothing else just networking with others, I hope to see some of them in the near future posting and asking questions. Thanks again, I am sure that sometime in the near future there will be a list of all the results for all to see, heck I haven't even seen it yet.
