Thank you for the pictures and posts, they do help. I cut the garbage off of my sign pole today. There was actually a short section of the original ring there so I can see how it was made. I have a plan for a reconstruction job. Stay tuned for updates in the form of progress pictures. One more rather dumb question, is a 6 foot sign exactly 6 foot in diameter? I kind a need to know before I build my ring. I would hate to make my ring and then find a sign it not fit in it .
