i believe you are reading it wrong, i think he meant that the measurements do not include the bracket.

i believe all 4 of the signs are legit, and just a really good (and lucky) find. i agree with whoever was mentioning the aging... there is a difference between artificial age and authentic, and these appear 100% authentic to me.
